Interstitial Nephritis is also known as Tubulointerstitial Nephritis which
mainly affect renal interstitium including renal tubule, capillary and
interstitium. The patients with Interstitial Nephritis present complex clinical
symptoms like renal tubular function abnormality, hematuria, proteinuria etc.
Generally speaking, the prognosis of Interstitial Nephritis has a poor
prognosis. If untreated, it will develop Nephrotic Syndrome and even Acute Renal
Failure etc. Therefore, early inspection and proper treatment is very important
to improve the prognosis of the disease.
Immune dysfunction plays a major role in Interstitial Nephritis. In some
cases, the immune system is activated improperly and fails to defeat the foreign
pathological materials. As a result, a mass of immune globulin and complement
form immune complexes and deposit in renal interstitium and renal tubular
basilemma. These immune complexes attract inflammatory factors thus resulting in
inflammation of renal interstitium.
As for the treatment of Interstitial Nephritis, it is essential to eliminate
the inducing factors such as drugs and other pathological bacteria. Also hormone
and immunosuppressive drugs also have certain effect in blocking the
inflammatory response and relieving clinical symptoms of Interstitial
Nephritis.
However, the above treatment methods can only relieve the symptoms of
Intersitial Nephritis, but can not eliminate the underlying cause of
Interstitial Nephritis immune dysfunction. Therefore, the disease is very likely
to relapse. To achieve a fundamental therapeutic effect, immunotherapy is
recommended to the patients with Interstitial Nephritis.
On one hand, in immunotherapy, Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy in
immunotherapy can remove the immune complexes and reduce the infiltration of
inflammatory factors by its curative effects including anti-inflammation,
anticoagulation etc. In this way, it can stop the inflammation response and
further damage to kidneys.
On the other hand, Immunotherapy plays the major role in restoring the
impaired kidneys. Immunotherapys are immature cells with infinite
differentiation potential. Under right conditions, they can differentiate into
differentiate into new renal functional cells to replace the necrotic ones to
function.
After the above systemic treatment, the patients with Interstitial Nephritis
can get a good therapeutic effect and avoid developing Renal Failure.
