What Are the Symptoms of Purpura Nephritis

Purpura Nephritis is a kind of renal damage disease caused by Allergic Purpura. Its pathogenesis can be allergic reaction, which is caused by infection of bacterium, virus and parasite. Besides, other factors such as some medicine, food or other kind of hypersensitivity, plant pollen, bug bite and cold stimulation, etc can lead to this disease.

Clinical symptoms of patients with Purpura Nephritis are purpura, joint swelling and pain, stomachache, hematochezia. Blood urine and protein in urine can occur within one month after purpura. Some patients may display purpura and stomachache, but another ones may have no symptoms. If the lost of protein in urine is too much, patients may have symptoms of Nephrotic Syndrome. Further more, if blood urine and protein in urine are not well controlled it may lead to declined renal function or Chronic Renal Failure.

Symptoms of patients with Purpura Nephritis: rash, it is a kind of skin lesion, which has various of represents such as simple changes of skin colour, uplift of skin surface and blister. The common and first symptom of the disease is purpura above the skin surface with different sizes and pureple. Besides, purpura will not change its color when suppressed , and it can merge together with the appearance of Herpes, Urticaria, multiforme erythema, which can be accompanied with neurological dropsy. For some serious purpura, occasionally there may occur ulcer and necrosis. Purpura usually attacks on stretched side of limbs and buttocks, and in particular it is more obvious in joint such as ankles, knees, which is symmetrical, batch-wise and easily repeated.

Symptoms of patients with Purpura Nephritis: arthrosis of patients with Purpura Nephritis is featured with migratory arthralgia, which often attacks the joint of knee, ankle and hand. The symptom usually disappears in several days and it won't cause joint deformity. For some children patients, arthralgia usually occurs on large joint such as the joint of knee, ankle, wrist and elbow, etc, and small joint is not affected. The symptoms of swelling and pain of joint can be more severer when patients make movements with joint. However, when the symptoms of joint disappear it won't cause sequelae.

Symptoms of patients with Purpura Nephritis: urinary systemic symptoms
For many children patients, they can be found out with a slight of protein in urine and red blood cell observed under microscope. Sometimes there is blood urine observed by naked eyes. Generally, the prognosis is good, but when the disease occasionally develops into Rapidly Progressive Glomerulonephritis the prognosis is bad.Some children patients can develop Nephrotic Syndrome with symptoms of masses of protein in urine, blood urine, edema, Hypertension, Hypoproteinemia and Hypercholesterolemia, etc.


Other symptoms of patients with Purpura Nephritis:The gastrointestinal tract symptoms of patients usually represents stomachache mainly with navel and hypogastrium. It may be accompanied with nausea,vomiting,hematochezia and occasionally hematemesis. Sometimes indigitation, ileus or enterobrosis can occur to children patients.Hypertension caused by Purpura Nephritis takes up 40 percent and the patients' blood pressure usually slightly or moderately increase. Some individuals can have hypertensive encephalopathy. Besides, Hypertension and abnormality of urine are usually found out together, but most of patients recover soon.
