Diabetes complicated with kidney disease

Patient is 42 years old, female, from Jilin Province, China.
Patient has suffered from Diabetes for more than 10 years. During this period, she main has the symptoms of thirsty, more drink, weight lose and swelling on lower limbs.
Testes in local hospital shows: protein in urine +++, fasting sugar 22mmol/L, creatinine 2.4. Besides, kidney tumor is also tested out. Local hospital offered insulin treatment as well as diuretic. However, the symptom of swelling was not relieved. For this reason, patient came to our hospital in May, 2011.
Patient was admitted on 20th, May. Through examination, BP 150/100mmHg; protein 10.12g in 24 hours; WBC 8.4×109/L;RBC 3.4×1012/L; platelet 617×109/L; Albumin 30.5g/L; creatinine 3.2; liver function is normal; heart function is normal; Retinopathy was found; Serious swelling on lower limbs.
Diagnosis: Diabetes Type Ⅱ, Diabetic Nephropathy, diabetic retinopathy
Treatment procedure in our hospital: firstly, routine treatment to reduce blood pressure and diuretic as well as insulin treatment. Secondly, doctors offered Micro-Chinese Medicine three times one day, 45 minutes for each time. After 7 days Micro-Chinese Medicine, patient has the first Immunotherapy treatment and another in 10 ten days interval.
After 22 days treatment, test results show that BP is less than 140/85mmHg. Blood sugar level is stable at 5.6～6.3mmol/L for fasting level. Creatinine lowers to 1.6. Protein is nil. Symptom of swelling also disappears. Patient was required to bring Micro-Chinese Medicine home for continuous treatment. Through regular follow up, patient condition keeps stable and creatinine is also in a reducing condition.

Besides, Micro-Chinese Medicine can also repair and protect kidney cells so as to stop the progress of this disease. For this reason, besides treating kidney disease, Immunotherapy treatment has excellent effect on treating Diabetes. This patient has serious swelling, which is caused by protein leakage in urine.
