Diabetes patients should pay more attention to the following aspects:

1. Eat more

6. Reduce the fat intake


The fat intake should according to the illness condition of patients. High-fat diet will obstruct the utilization of sugar, and the metabolism of which will give rise to ketone body, is easy to cause and aggravate the acidosis. Obese patients should limit the fat intake strictly, no more than 40g is proper. Thin patients should enhance the fat intake because of insufficient thermal energy.
