When various factors lead to a great dysfunction of kidney, it can cause
internal disorder, representing a series of pathological physiological changes
such as retention of excess water and waste products, unbalance of acid-base,
electrolyte disorder, renal secretion function, etc. Consequently, it can cause
damage to various of organs and tissues and leads to a series of symptoms namely
Renal Insufficiency. Then, what are the signs and symptoms of Renal
Insufficiency?
Signs and symptoms of Renal Insufficiency representing of gastrointestinal
tract: it can represent anorexia, discomfort abdomen at the primary stage and
other symptoms in the latter stage such as nausea, vomiting,diarrhoea,
glossitis, ammoniacal odour in mouth, oral ulcer or even gastrointestinal
hemorrhage.
Signs and symptoms of Renal Insufficiency representing of nervous system: in
the early stage it represents listlessness, fatigue, dizzy, headache,
hypomnesia, insomnia, skin itch, in the late stage it represents somnolence,
dysphoria, or even hyperspasmia, convulsions, coma.
Signs and symptoms of Renal Insufficiency representing of cardiovascular
system: it usually represents Hypertension, myocardial injury, uremic
pericarditis.
Signs and symptoms of Renal Insufficiency representing of hemopoietic system:
it usually represents anemia, subcutaneous ecchymosis, epistaxis and melena,
etc.
Signs and symptoms of Renal Insufficiency representing of respiratory system:
it may represent bronchitis, pneumonia, pleuritis caused by Uremia.
Other signs and symptoms of Renal Insufficiency: skin dryness, metabolic
acidosis, dehydration or edema,disorder electrolyte(hyponatremia,sodium
retention, hypocalcemia, hyperphosphatemia). Besides,hypoproteinemia is common
when metabolic disturbance occurs and patients with Uremia often suffer
hyperlipemia.
Renal Insufficiency patients should know signs and symptoms at different
stages of the disease. Besides, it is better for them to take positive treatment
at early stage to effectively control the condition's development and live a
full life.
