Lupus Nephritis is a severe complication of lupus. In the early stage of
Lupus Nephritis, the patients usually do not present any obvious symptom or
discomforts and the conventional testes like urine test and blood test can not
reflect the abnormality of kidneys at all. As a result, in many cases, the
patients may be diagnosed with Lupus Nephritis in its advanced stage, in which,
their kidneys have been damaged badly.
For the patients with Lupus Nephritis(the warning signs of Lupus Nephritis),
when their kidneys can not function normally to clear up toxins and excess
fluid, they have to depend on dialysis to realize the task. Dialysis can replace
partial function of the native kidneys to remove the small molecular harmful
substances such as creatinine, urea nitrogen etc, but it is useless for the
middle molecular and macromolecular harmful substances. Even if dialysis is
performed regularly, the toxins will still build up in body to aggravate
deterioration of renal function.
Lupus Nephritis is an autoimmune disorder, in which the immune system attacks
the renal tissues and cells thus resulting in renal impairment. To treat Lupus
Nephritis, the treatment should focus on correcting the immune system and
restoring the damaged renal tissues and cells. To achieve the above therapeutic
goals, immunotherapy is recommended to the patients with Lupus Nephritis.
Immunotherapy is a biotherapy and it aims at recovering the self-curing
ability of the body. It treats Lupus Nephritis from its underlying cause so the
patients can get a fundamental recovery.
Immunotherapy is not a single treatment, but a complete treatment system
including diagnosis, treatment methods and brand new medicines including western
medicines and traditional Chinese medicine. It takes the advantages of the
modern western medicines, techniques and the essence of traditional Chinese
medicine.
