2. When you found your kidneys are shrunk, you kidney function is not low. In
this case, your renal interstitium may have been hurt. The renal interstitium is
inside of the kidney and takes two third of the kidneys. Its main function is to
give a support to kidney tissues. so when it is hurt, people’s kidney function
is not lost much but kidney size has been smaller. They have not gone into renal
failure. But the renal inflammation will damage glomeruli sooner or later. So
