Diabetes is a common disease which is more and more popular as the life is
getting better. Long time Diabetes can lead to many complications like Diabetic
Nephropathy, Diabetic Foot and Diabetic Retinopathy. Diabetic Nephropathy means
that the kidneys are damaged because of Diabetes.
Then what are the factors which lead to Diabetic Nephropathy? For such
reasons as metabolic disorder of lipid and antherosclerosis, many diabetics have
hypertension, long time hypertension can lead to kidney damage; long-term and
over high blood sugar leads to the increasing permeability of capillaries, which
causes the exudation of serum protein, and then the damage of capillary basal
lamina. Finally it end in glomerulosclerosis and renal tissues atrophy; High
protein food aggravates Diabetic Nephropathy; due to strict limitation of
carbohydrate, diabetics will mainly have high-protein and fiber food, which
leads to the overburden and accumulation of protein catabolites and phosphorus.
They also do harm to the kidneys.
Therefore, patients with Diabetic Nephropathy pay more attention to their
diet. If you do not have the symptom of edema or it is not serious, you have to
drink more water. The drinking water volume and urine volume is separately about
1500-2000ml. Limitation on salt intake. The diet for Diabetes patients should be
low-salt and the salt intake should be less than 6g each day. Properly limit the
potassium and protein intake. Patients with Diabetes should control the intake
of drink and fruits containing potassium. And the protein intake should
be0.6-0.8g/kg (weight) each day. They should eat some food rich in quality
protein like fish and mean meat. Supplement enough vitamin and microelement like
vitamin B, vitamin C, iron, zinc, and calcium etc.
What’s more, patients have to bring the glucose under control. First, they
have to control the calorie intake. Then keep calm to prevent the fluctuation of
blood sugar. Don’t get excited whatever happens. The last but not the least,
don’t take any Nephrotoxic medicines. They can impose burden on kidneys.
Nephrotoxic drugs include Gentamicin, Iprofen and Vancomycin etc.
Once people have Diabetic Nephropathy, they have to treat it timely and
effectively. Diabetic Nephropathy can not recover by itself. Clinical practice
has proven that the combination of Immunotherapy and Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy is effective in treating Diabetic Nephropathy. If you are
