As for Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) treatment, surgical operations are
mostly adopted. These operations treat PKD starting with removing large cysts so
as to relieve the pressure caused by cysts. Actually, these surgical operations
can only reduce the pressure on other organs and tissues temporarily. When large
cysts are removed, the small cysts will grow more quickly due to decreased
pressure from large cysts. Besides, there are also some risks of surgical
operations which may also cause damage to the kidneys.
Presently, there is no good way to remove the cysts completely. So what we
can do is to adopt some methods that can control and inhibit the growth of the
cysts. In this way cysts will not cause pressure to surrounding organs and
tissues, and PKD patients can live normally with them.
Well then, how to control and inhibit the cysts? Immunotherapy is introduced.
This therapy is to transplant new cells into the patients and let them repair
and differentiate into the kidney cells to make the kidneys work normally.
The root of all kidney diseases is renal inherent cells injury, so from the
cytology viewpoint to treat kidney diseases is the most advanced method
presently. There are infinite possibilities for Immunotherapy to treat kidney
diseases, which is great news for patients. Besides, Immunotherapy is safe
without side effect. After healing, patients’ disease seldom reoccurs. As long
as injured cells are repaired, the disease condition will greatly been
relieved.
Except treatment, the daily health care is also important for recovery of PKD
patients. Proper diet, good lifestyle, positive mood and proper exercises play
very important roles in the recovery of PKD patients. As long as the treatment
as well as other assistant treatments can play their function fully, PKD
patients can have a normal life just as other healthy people.
