What Should PKD Patients Pay Attention to in Daily Exercises

Taking exercises cannot only improve our constitution but can add much pleasure to our daily life, which is regarded as an effective measure and health care to decrease our mental pressure. Then could patients with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) can engage in various exercises? What should they pay attention to during these exercises? Patients taking daily exercises should depend on their specific physical conditions. Generally, it is available to do exercises before 30 years old. Although cysts can cause some slight pressure to each other in this stage, the pressure is not very strong. Patients can take some exercises with higher safety, but they are not allowed to take fierce and crashing sports like playing basketball and soccer.

Some mild and flexible exercises can not affect kidney in daily exercises. For patients nearly 40 years old, their cysts become big and cause much pressure to each other. Fierce exercises usually lead to cysts rupture, so patients in this age must notice this point in life and work. Patients need to avoid knocking renal area, especially housewives. They must avoid kid kicking their renal area when they take care of the infants. Patients who presented Hematuria before need to attach more importance on the safety of daily exercises, because their cysts are readily to rupture. To avoid reoccurring Hematuria, patients try to take part in these exercises which needs small bending angle and have less jolting. The height of seat should approach to that of knees. In the early morning, walking and jogging can be preferable.
