Diabetic nephropathy in the early stage
Due to long-term diabetes, the high blood sugar is easy to hurt any organs or
tissues in your body, such as feet, heart, eyes, and kidneys. Among all of
these, kidney damage is the main and the most serious for people, which is
considered as the main cause of death of diabetics. However, in the early stage,
people would not have uncomfortable feeling but only have some abnormal indexes.
A great amount of protein in urine presents and it is the result of damage in
glomeruli that are the tissues in kidneys to filter blood. in this way, people
would lose much protein and result in hypoproteinemia. Thereby people would have
dizzy, fatigue, weak immunity and swelling in tissues or organs.
Diabetic nephropathy in the end stage
When people step into the end stage, kidney failure is the biggest risk
factor for their health or even their lives. Less care or ineffective treatment
will lead to kidney failure from diabetic nephropathy. Kidney failure means that
more than 15% or 10% of glomeruli are dead and cannot help people to discharge
the toxins from the body. As a result, too much toxins deposit in blood vessels
to poison every organ.
As the illness condition develops, people would have high level of potassium
in blood and cause palpitation or heart rest to threaten people’s lives.
Furthermore, people would have high level of phosphorus, so it will lead to
osteoporosis. That is the reason why people with renal failure are easy to
