Polycystic Kidney Disease Complicated with Stone

Patient: Wu Changwei, Male, 60 years old

Diagnosis: Polycystic Kidney Disease complicated with Multiple Stone, Chronic Renal Insufficiency Compensatory Stage

Hospitalization: 22ed Jan, 2007 to 6th Feb, 2007

Main Cause: patient has suffered from intermittent waist pain for 15 years.
Test when patient went to hospital: 1. Polycystic Liver Disease; 2. Polycystic Kidney Disease; Type-B Ultrasonic result: left kidney, 22.9*9.6cm; right kidney, 17.1*9.0cm’ large cyst in left kidney, 7.8*5.8cm; large cyst in right kidney, 5.4*4.6cm; small stone can be found in cysts.

Renal Function Test: serum creatinine, 135.7umol/L; endogenous creatinine clearance, 51.5ml/min

Morse Test: renal tubular concentrating and dilution functions are damaged. Patient has symptoms of waist pain and Haematuria.
